Beijing Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. was established on October 18, 2002, through a joint investment by Beijing Automotive Investment Co., Ltd. and Hyundai Motor Company of South Korea. Beijing Hyundai is located in the Beijing Automotive Production Base in Shunyi District, Beijing. It operates three vehicle production plants, three engine production plants, and one technical center, with an annual vehicle production capacity of 1.05 million units.
