Is autohold the same as auto start-stop?

autohold is not the same as auto start-stop. autohold is a derivative function of electronic parking. Traditional handbrakes require manual release when starting on a slope, while the autohold function uses a slope sensor to provide parking force through the controller. When starting, the parking control unit, through sensors such as the clutch distance sensor and accelerator pedal sensor, automatically releases the parking brake when the driving force exceeds the running resistance, allowing the car to start smoothly. Enabling the autohold function activates the corresponding automatic parking function. Even in D or N gear, there is no need to keep the foot on the brake pedal; the car remains stationary. To release the stationary state, simply tap the accelerator pedal.
