No advance appointment is required for the study and verification of deducted points on a driver's license. You only need to report to the traffic management department of the public security authority within thirty days after the end of the scoring cycle to undergo verification and participate in the study session. Order No. 139 of the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China The "Decision of the Ministry of Public Security on Amending the 'Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses'" has been adopted at the executive meeting of the Minister of Public Security and is hereby promulgated. It shall come into force as of April 1, 2016. Article 70: Drivers holding licenses for large buses, tractors, city buses, medium-sized buses, or large trucks shall report to the traffic management department of the public security authority within thirty days after the end of each scoring cycle to undergo verification. However, if there are no recorded points within a scoring cycle, the verification for that cycle is exempted. Article 71: If a driver holding a license for large buses, tractors, city buses, medium-sized buses, or large trucks has recorded points within a scoring cycle, they must participate in no less than three hours of study on road traffic safety laws and regulations, safe and civilized driving, emergency response, and other knowledge during verification, and receive warning education on traffic accident cases.
