ABS is very important for motorcycles. Introduction to ABS: ABS is a set of braking assistance system. Models equipped with this system can effectively avoid side skidding and rollover caused by excessive braking force during use. Therefore, this system is affectionately referred to by riders as a "life-saving" device. The motorcycle ABS assistance system is a set of devices developed based on disc brakes. The full name of this system is the Anti-lock Braking System. Currently, only a few large enterprises have the production capacity, and the modules equipped for each vehicle are different, basically being vehicle-specific. Because of this, its cost is relatively high, and it has not yet become a standard feature on motorcycles. Anti-lock Braking System: It mainly consists of a control module, actuator, and sensor. The working principle is equivalent to intermittent braking, but the frequency is much higher. The ABS intermittent braking frequency can reach over 60 times per second. Motorcycle brakes are located on the front and rear wheels and operate independently. According to vehicle characteristics, the braking effect of the front brake is better than that of the rear brake. If the current vehicle does not have ABS, emergency braking can easily lead to tail flicking, side skidding, or rollover. Even under non-emergency braking conditions, excessive braking force can sometimes cause wheel lock-up.
