Vehicle inspection is required for the transfer of ownership, and the transfer cannot be completed without it. During the inspection, the exterior, chassis, lights, etc., will be checked. Both the previous and current owners need to bring their ID cards to the local vehicle management office for the transfer. Required materials for transfer: Vehicle, vehicle license with both original and duplicate copies, valid compulsory traffic insurance policy (i.e., the duplicate copy of the compulsory insurance), ID card and its photocopy. For company-owned vehicles, the company's code certificate and the agent's identity proof are required. Relevant legal provisions: Article 19, Paragraph 1 of the "Regulations on the Registration of Motor Vehicles" stipulates: For applying for transfer registration, the current owner of the motor vehicle shall fill out an application form, present the motor vehicle for inspection, and submit the following certificates and proofs: the identity proof of the current owner of the motor vehicle. Proof of the transfer of motor vehicle ownership; motor vehicle registration certificate. Vehicle license; for motor vehicles under customs supervision, the "Certificate of Release from Customs Supervision" or the customs-approved transfer certificate shall also be submitted.
