Is a tire pressure of 1.8 bar safe for normal driving in winter?

Winter tire pressure of 1.8 bar is not safe for normal driving. Due to lower temperatures in winter, it is recommended to increase the tire pressure by 0.1 to 0.2 bar. The normal tire pressure range for winter is between 2.3 and 2.5 bar, so a tire pressure of 1.8 bar is not suitable for normal driving in winter. Higher tire pressure can improve fuel efficiency and make steering lighter, but it also increases the risk of tire blowouts, as even small bumps can cause a tire to burst. On the other hand, low tire pressure increases the contact area with the ground, improving braking performance and grip during turns. However, it can cause the tire sidewalls to deform and accelerate aging, leading to potential safety hazards.
