Is a six-year-old car subject to biennial inspection thereafter?

According to current regulations, cars older than six years require an annual inspection. However, based on new rules issued by the Ministry of Public Security effective from November 20, 2020, non-operational small and micro passenger vehicles have shifted from annual inspections to biennial inspections. Only the 6th and 8th year require an on-site inspection at the vehicle management office to obtain the annual inspection pass mark. Relevant details about annual inspections are as follows: Introduction 1: Annual inspection, colloquially referred to as annual review, means routine examination on a yearly basis. Introduction 2: Vehicle annual inspection primarily involves safety checks, including comprehensive inspections of components such as the horn, brakes, axle weight, chassis, ignition system, lighting system, exhaust system, license plate installation, etc.
