To register as a Didi driver, you must have a Network Pre-booked Taxi Driver's License. This license requires an application to the local taxi administration department, and it will be issued after meeting the requirements and passing the assessment. Additional Information: According to Article 14 of the "Interim Measures for the Management of Network Pre-booked Taxi Business Services," drivers engaged in ride-hailing services must meet the following conditions: (1) Obtain a motor vehicle driver's license for the corresponding vehicle type and have at least 3 years of driving experience; (2) No records of traffic crime, dangerous driving crime, drug use, or drunk driving, and no record of accumulating 12 penalty points in the last 3 consecutive scoring cycles; (3) No records of violent crimes; (4) Other conditions stipulated by the municipal government. Legal Basis: Article 15 stipulates that the municipal taxi administration department in the service location shall, upon application by the driver or the ride-hailing platform company, verify the conditions specified in Article 14 and conduct the assessment as required. The "Network Pre-booked Taxi Driver's License" will be issued to drivers who meet the conditions and pass the assessment.
