Introduction to BMW 5 Series Light Switches?

Light operations can only be performed after starting the vehicle. The turn signals are controlled by the light control (or button) on the left side of the steering wheel, while the headlights and position lights are controlled by the light buttons on the left side of the driver's seat. 1. Turn signals and parking lights can only be activated after the vehicle is ignited. The activation method is simple: just rotate the button on the light control lever to turn on the corresponding lights. Gently flick the light lever, and the corresponding turn signal will flash three times before automatically turning off. 2. High beam activation method: First, turn the light rotary knob to the low beam position, then push the light control lever forward to activate the high beams. Instant high beam function: After turning on the headlights, pull the light control lever backward once to activate the high-low beam alternation, which serves as an effective warning signal. The high beam indicator will illuminate on the instrument cluster. 3. Fog lights: The fog light switch is located next to the light rotary knob and can be activated by pressing it. 4. Automatic headlights, low beams, and position lights: Automatic headlights can be enabled via the central control settings. Rotate the light control button sequentially to activate the position lights, automatic headlights, and low beams in order. 5. Headlight cleaning: With the headlights on, activate the windshield washer switch to clean the headlights. If you only want to clean the windshield, turn off the headlights before activating the washer switch. 6. Adaptive headlights: Activation method: Press the light graphic button with the letter A on the left side of the steering wheel.
