How to Wax a Car in Winter?
1 Answers
The primary function of car waxing is waterproofing and protecting against acid rain. Below are the steps for waxing a car in winter: 1. Before waxing, wash the car body with car shampoo to remove dirt and dust. Avoid using dish detergent or soapy water indiscriminately to prevent corrosion of the paint layer. 2. Polish before applying wax to eliminate spots or scratches on the car surface. After polishing, wipe off residues with a clean cotton cloth. 3. When waxing, apply an appropriate amount of car wax on a sponge block and spread it in straight, repetitive motions on the car body. Do not pour wax liquid randomly on the car. 4. After waxing the car body, clean residual wax from gaps such as lights and license plates.
