This is a common item. Drip it onto a cloth and wipe for about 5 minutes, and the stain will disappear immediately. Soak a chamois and apply toothpaste. Spread it evenly. This can reduce scratch marks and also act as a barrier against rust. For deep rust, sand it off with sandpaper and then repaint for repair. After washing, it will become clean. This mainly targets minor surface rust watermarks. To prevent car rust, gently apply toothpaste in a circular motion on the scratches. Reapply after rain or car washing.
When rust water drips onto my white car, I first rinse it thoroughly with plenty of water to dilute the rust and prevent it from hardening on the paint.
