X-Trail electronic parking brake operation method: Step on the brake pedal, when the vehicle is stationary, pull the electronic parking brake button upward. A small red electronic parking brake symbol will appear on the instrument panel, indicating the parking brake is engaged. To release it, step on the brake pedal and push the electronic parking brake button downward - the red indicator on the instrument panel will disappear, confirming the parking brake is disengaged.
