When the ignition switch is in the "ON" position, enter the audio system, click [Vehicle Settings], go to [Smart Body], and turn on the [Mobile Wireless Function]. There is a wireless charging pad in front of the gear shift lever in the cabin, with a visible "Qi" logo on it. Align the center of your phone with the "Qi" logo inside the front storage box, ensure all doors are closed. If the phone deviates from the charging area, charging will stop. In the [Mobile Wireless Function] option, slide the switch and click to turn it off. At this point, the wireless charging indicator on the upper part of the central control screen will disappear.

Last time I drove the Trumpchi M8, I tested the wireless charging function, which was quite convenient. The charging pad is usually located in front of the center console, near the cup holders, with clear markings. After starting the car, simply place your phone on it and align it properly, provided that your phone supports Qi-standard wireless charging. When I placed my iPhone on it, the indicator light flashed blue and charging began immediately. If it doesn't charge, check if your phone case is too thick or if the phone is misaligned—I found that removing the case worked. The charging speed is moderate, suitable for topping up the battery during city commutes. Compared to wired charging, it eliminates the hassle of plugging and unplugging cables and reduces wear and tear, making it much safer. However, I rarely use it during long highway drives to avoid overheating my phone. Regularly cleaning dust from the charging area is important to maintain stable performance. Overall, I found the design thoughtful, enhancing driving comfort.

As someone who loves tinkering with car gadgets, I'm particularly fond of the wireless charging setup in the Trumpchi M8. Located in the center console armrest, it incorporates Qi technology and supports mainstream smartphones. Simple to use: start the vehicle's power, place your phone steadily on the designated area, and check the indicator light color to determine the status—blue light on means charging, no response requires adjusting the position or checking phone compatibility. The charging process is based on electromagnetic induction, safe and efficient, eliminating the need for extra cables. I often use it to charge my Samsung phone—fast enough for daily needs, but keep metal objects away to prevent interference or malfunctions. For maintenance, I wipe the surface with a dry cloth to remove dirt. Tightly integrated with the vehicle's smart system, it's highly practical—just place it down while driving for a hassle-free experience.

I'm used to the wireless charging in the Trumpchi M8, super simple. Once the car starts, just place the phone on the center console charging pad, and charging begins as soon as the green light turns on. The spot is usually next to the cup holders, and the phone needs to support the Qi standard, like my iPhone which works fine when placed correctly. If it charges slowly, just adjust the phone's position. During normal driving, the phone charges automatically, eliminating messy cables, which is quite convenient. Just be careful not to place thick cases or metal objects on it.
