I've been driving the new Hongqi H5 for half a year now. The wireless charging function is located in the area with a lightning symbol below the center console. After getting in the car, first power on or start the vehicle, then simply place your Qi-compatible phone flat on the charging pad. Remember not to use phone cases that are too thick - metal cases over 5mm may interfere with charging. A blue light will illuminate around the pad during charging, turning green when fully charged. Note that if your phone doesn't respond when placed on the pad, it might be due to misalignment or your phone model not supporting Qi protocol - some older Android devices require charging coils instead. It's quite convenient for long drives, allowing you to navigate while charging without any cables. However, the phone tends to get hot, so I recommend directing the AC vent towards it or taking a break after about 30 minutes of charging.

What is the water content of brake fluid?

Under normal circumstances, the water content of brake fluid is below 1%. If it is too high, it will lower the boiling point of the brake fluid, causing the brake fluid to boil and vaporize during high-intensity braking, leading to brake failure. When the water content in the brake fluid reaches 3%, the boiling point of the brake fluid will decrease by 25%; if the water content reaches 7-8%, the boiling point of the brake fluid will drop by more than 50%. Relevant information about brake fluid is as follows: Introduction to brake fluid: Brake fluid is also known as hydraulic brake fluid. The water content in brake fluid has a certain proportion, and when it becomes excessive, the brake fluid must be replaced promptly. Brake fluid itself is hygroscopic, meaning moisture from the air can seep in through the vent hole of the brake fluid reservoir. Over time, this can cause the water content in the brake fluid to exceed the standard. Function of brake fluid: It effectively lubricates the moving parts of the braking system, extending the service life of the brake calipers and rubber cups.

Why Does the Engine Slightly Shake at Idle Speed?

Reasons for engine idle shaking: 1. Dirty air filter: The air filter is designed to protect the engine and reduce wear, simply replace the air filter. 2. Broken high-voltage wire: A broken high-voltage wire refers to the core wire being broken, which can affect ignition and cause engine shaking. 3. Low idle speed: The engine idle speed value is preset in the computer. When the RPM drops below a certain range, the car's computer will automatically adjust it. 4. Abnormal water temperature: The engine operating temperature has a normal range. If the water temperature is too high, it can lead to advanced ignition timing, changes in the air-fuel mixture ratio, thinning of the engine oil viscosity, and poor lubrication performance. 5. Clogged fuel injector: The fuel injector in an electronic fuel injection vehicle is a key component for fuel injection, with a long service life that can reach hundreds of thousands of kilometers. However, due to gum in gasoline, the injector nozzles can become clogged, causing inconsistent fuel injection amounts from each injector. This leads to uneven operation of each cylinder and results in engine shaking.

Can the owner apply for ETC without a driver's license?

The owner can apply for ETC even without a driver's license. According to the "Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Application of Electronic Non-stop Toll Collection on Highways" issued by the Ministry of Transport, the owner needs to provide the original valid ID card, the original and a copy of the vehicle registration certificate, and the page of the registration certificate with the most recent annual inspection stamp. If someone else is handling the application on behalf of the owner, they also need to provide their original valid ID card. If applying for ETC through the business offices of major banks, a debit card or credit card from the corresponding bank is also required. Some banks only support ETC binding with credit cards, while others may require freezing a portion of the amount as a deposit when binding ETC with a debit card. ETC deduction principle: There will be one or more ETC lanes on the highway. Through the dedicated short-range microwave communication between the on-board electronic tag installed on the vehicle's windshield and the microwave antenna in the ETC lane of the toll station, the computer network technology is used to settle accounts with the bank in the background, achieving the purpose of paying road and bridge tolls without stopping at the toll station. All of this is based on the principle of passing first and deducting fees later. Benefits of installing ETC: Save time: Eliminates the hassle of waiting in line; Green and environmentally friendly: Green and low-carbon, vehicles pass through toll stations without stopping, reducing noise and exhaust emissions and minimizing pollution; Reduce wear and tear: Saves costs, reduces the frequency of vehicle starts and brakes, and lowers wear and fuel consumption; Improve efficiency: The theoretical efficiency of ETC lanes can be increased by 2-3 times, making traditional ETC updated, faster, and more high-tech. Compared to license plate payment, ETC technology is more mature and advantageous. More policy support: The State Council clearly stated in the "Development Plan for the Modern Comprehensive Transportation System during the 13th Five-Year Plan" that "by 2020, the interoperability of transportation cards in key urban agglomerations will be basically achieved, and the proportion of vehicles equipped with ETC will be significantly increased." It also clearly stated in the main indicators of comprehensive transportation development during the "13th Five-Year Plan" that "by 2020, the ETC usage rate of road passenger vehicles will reach 50%." More future possibilities: In addition to continuously improving the convenience of ETC installation and usage and the ETC usage rate of passenger vehicles, the future will also promote the use of ETC by trucks and explore the deep integration of the ETC system with the development direction of smart transportation, such as vehicle-to-vehicle communication and vehicle-road coordination, to provide comprehensive travel services for vehicle owners. This means that more application scenarios will support ETC applications. Precautions for using ETC: The ETC transaction sensing area is 8 meters. When encountering a vehicle in front that has stopped, to prevent the ETC device of the front vehicle from malfunctioning or not having an ETC device at all, maintain a distance of more than 10 meters from the front vehicle to avoid automatic sensing and paying for the front vehicle. The recognition speed for ETC lane passage is 20 km/h. If the speed is too fast, the vehicle device information cannot be read, which will also lead to deduction failure. Unauthorized disassembly or movement of the OBU device, or detachment or loosening of the ETC electronic tag, will cause the electronic tag to fail. It can be sent to the bank where the ETC card was issued or the highway service office for testing. If the loosening or detachment is not man-made, it only needs to be reactivated. When using a debit card to bind ETC, insufficient balance will also lead to deduction failure. You can follow the guidance of on-site staff to the manual MTC lane and pass using cash or card. Excessive thickness of the car windshield can lead to poor sensing. This is especially important for vehicles that have been repaired after an accident and had their windshields replaced, or for friends who have modified their front windshields.

What is the RPM of the Shadow Leopard sport and sport+?

The Shadow Leopard sport and sport+ RPM and activation of the launch mode result in a starting RPM of around 2100rpm, achieving the fastest time of 7.72 seconds. Normal RPM range: The normal RPM range for a car is between 1000-3500. A standard engine idles at 1000 RPM, increasing to 1500 RPM after starting. Shift to 2nd gear when the speed does not exceed 15, and generally maintain around 2000 RPM until reaching the highest gear. For high-speed engines, the RPM can increase by 500. During normal driving, the RPM in any gear should generally not be below 1500 or exceed 2500. When exceeding this range, timely downshifting or upshifting should be performed. Introduction to the tachometer: The tachometer can be divided into several zones. The white scale area indicates the safe RPM range, while the red scale area represents the dangerous RPM range. Some models also feature a green zone, indicating the RPM range where the engine operates most economically. Excessively low or high RPMs are normal phenomena, but it's important to ensure that the RPM matches the current speed. Otherwise, driving at low gear with high RPM or high gear with low RPM can cause unnecessary damage to the vehicle.
