How to use the WEY VV6 electronic gear lever?
1 Answers
WEY VV6 electronic gear lever operation method is as follows: 1. When the ignition switch is in ON mode and the engine is not started, gear shifting is only possible between N (Neutral) and P (Park) positions. When the vehicle speed is below 2 km/h, opening the driver's door or turning off the engine will automatically shift the vehicle to P position. 2. Engaging P position: When the vehicle is stationary, press the parking gear button. (To avoid vehicle damage or accidents, ensure the vehicle is completely stopped before shifting to P or R positions.) Always depress the brake pedal before starting the vehicle, otherwise the vehicle may move automatically if the gear lever is in a driving position. 3. Briefly push the gear lever in the desired direction, surpassing the pressure point if necessary, then release it to automatically return to the center position. To disengage P position or engage R (Reverse) position, depress the brake pedal and press the unlock button; to engage D (Drive) position, depress the brake pedal. 4. After engaging D position, pulling the gear lever backward switches to M (Manual) position; pulling it backward again switches back to D position. The currently engaged gear will be displayed on both the gear lever and the instrument information center.
