How to Use the Seat Heating Function in Lynk & Co 03?

Tap on the Settings on the central display, then select Vehicle and Air Conditioning Settings. Locate the air conditioning control panel and click on the front seat icon within it to activate seat heating and adjust its intensity. Below is relevant information about seat heating: 1. Seat heating works by using electric heating wires inside the seat to warm it internally, then transferring the heat to the occupant through thermal conduction, improving comfort in winter when the seat becomes too cold after prolonged parking. 2. The Lynk & Co 03 seats are equipped with front seat heating functionality, adjustable in three levels with a maximum temperature of 40°C. It can be set to auto-start and has a duration setting, with a maximum of 30 minutes. For safety reasons, the function will automatically turn off when the seat surface temperature reaches 42°C.
After driving my Lynk & Co 03 for two years, I find the seat heating function quite straightforward to use. After starting the car, locate the button with a seat pattern and wavy line icon on the driver's side of the central AC control panel. A light press activates low-level heating, gently warming the seat; press again to switch to medium level, and another press sets it to the highest setting. Pressing it a fourth time turns it off. During the coldest winter days, medium level warms my back in just five minutes, faster than the AC. It's great for relieving back fatigue on long drives, but avoid using the highest setting for too long as prolonged heat exposure can age plastic parts. Remember to turn it off before shutting down the engine to prevent unnecessary battery drain next startup.
Just picked up the Lynk & Co 03 last week and specifically studied this feature. There are two buttons with seat symbols on the left side of the AC panel—the left controls the driver's seat, and the right controls the passenger seat. Press the button once to turn on the low setting (indicated by the light), and each additional press increases the temperature by one level, with a total of three adjustable levels. The central display screen also shows the current setting status. To turn it off, keep pressing until the light goes out, or it will automatically shut off when the vehicle is powered down. It's recommended to wait for the engine to warm up and the coolant temperature to rise before turning on the seat heating, as using the high setting immediately can put extra strain on the battery. On rainy days, it's best to wipe off any moisture from the seat surface before use, as steam seeping into the sponge layer may affect the lifespan of the heating wires.
