1 Answers
The method to use the parking brake is: 1. Press the brake pedal to slow down the vehicle; 2. Stop the vehicle on a safe road surface; 3. Shift the car's gear lever to the P (Park) position; 4. Pull up the electronic parking brake switch; 5. Press the car's one-button start key to turn off the vehicle. Reasons for parking brake failure include: 1. Insufficient brake fluid pressure due to lack of oil in the master cylinder, brake pipe rupture, oil pipe joint leakage, or blocked oil circuit; 2. Air in the brake system; 3. Excessive brake clearance, poor contact of brake shoe friction plates, severe wear, or oil contamination; 4. Wear of the master cylinder, wheel cylinder pistons, and cylinder pipes.
