After inserting the USB drive, select the USB drive as the source in the rear seat media system. Choose the files from the USB drive to play. The rear seat media system can be used while driving and supports USB playback. For music playback, the rear seat media system supports formats such as MP3 and WMV. Any format compatible with the system can be played. It also supports connecting a mobile phone via a data cable to play files from the phone. Playback from the phone allows you to control the playback progress.
I used this rear-seat entertainment system when driving my family on a road trip in a Mercedes before, and it was quite convenient. Rear passengers can press the power button below the screen to start the system, then use the remote control in the armrest to select functions. If you want to watch movies or TV shows, download them in advance to a USB drive and plug it into the central armrest interface, then easily play them through the menu. To connect Bluetooth headphones, press and hold the audio button on the remote control to pair, ensuring no interference. The screen supports touch swiping to change content, but I find the remote control more comfortable to use. During long trips, kids can watch cartoons, and the front seats can control playback permissions via the central control screen to prevent excessive screen time. Remember to clean the screen with a specialized cloth, as regular tissues may leave scratches.
As a Mercedes-Benz owner, I often let clients experience the rear entertainment system. The system automatically powers on after starting the vehicle, and handing the remote control to guests allows them to operate it. The HDMI port is located inside the center console, and connecting a laptop enables presentation display. When playing music, using the steering wheel shortcut keys to switch tracks is the most convenient. The two screens can be set independently, with the left screen showing navigation maps and the right screen playing movies without conflict. The headphone storage box is in the door panel compartment, and the noise cancellation effect is quite good. Remember to update the system regularly; after the last OTA upgrade, gesture control was added, allowing playback to be paused with a wave of the hand. Slow screen response in winter is normal, and it will improve after warming up with the heater for a while.
