When I drive the Lynk & Co 06, the dashcam comes pre-installed by the factory and requires almost no setup. As soon as I start the car, it automatically powers on and begins recording because it's plugged into the cigarette lighter or a USB port inside the car—it starts working the moment the engine turns on. To view the recorded videos, you need to download the official Lynk & Co app. Connect your phone to the car’s Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and after pairing, you can check the footage in real-time or download recordings to your phone, making it very convenient to review accident clips while on the road. I usually check the storage card capacity—a 32GB or 64GB microSD card is enough. When full, it automatically overwrites the oldest videos, so no manual clearing is needed. It’s also a good idea to clean the lens regularly to avoid dust blocking the view and affecting recording quality. This feature is crucial for safety—for example, in case of an emergency, you can directly retrieve evidence, avoiding disputes later. Overall, it’s super simple to use: just get in the car, and it does its job without any hassle.

As someone who enjoys studying in-car technology, I find the Lynk & Co 06's dash cam design quite smart. The red light turns on during operation to indicate recording. The settings could be optimized—adjusting resolution like 1080P or 720P via the APP ensures clear footage that captures details. The APP also allows setting a parking surveillance mode, which automatically activates recording upon detecting vibrations when parked roadside, preventing unattended scratches. The connection process is simple: open the Lynk & Co APP on your phone, bind the vehicle information, scan the dash cam's QR code to complete pairing, and then remotely access recordings or share video clips. Additionally, using genuine SD cards is advised to avoid compatibility issues—I format the card monthly to maintain smooth operation. It genuinely enhances safety, especially by recording movements in low-light conditions during night drives, and is easy to maintain.

Using the Lynk & Co 06 dash cam is very simple. It automatically starts recording videos to the SD card after the car is started, with the memory card inserted in the slot on the side of the device. To view the recordings, just open the Lynk & Co app on your phone, connect to the car's system, and download the files. Remember to regularly check that the indicator light is working properly—a flashing red light means it's recording. If the card is full, replace it with a new one to maintain continuous storage. This feature is very helpful for driving safety, as it can record the entire process of any incidents.

I think the dash cam is a practical feature on the Lynk & Co 06, mainly to ensure driving safety. The usage is not complicated: it automatically records while driving, powered by the cigarette lighter for activation; to view the footage, connect via the mobile app, which supports playback and saving key clips. I also recommend regularly checking the settings, such as ensuring loop recording is enabled to avoid missing important events due to interruptions. Additionally, choose a high-speed SD card to prevent lag, and the app allows adjusting sensitivity for urban driving. This equipment can provide strong evidence in case of accidents, reducing disputes, and with routine maintenance, it remains reliable long-term.

I've been driving the Lynk & Co 06 for several months, and the dashcam operation is very user-friendly. It automatically starts recording when I get in the car and saves the footage to the SD card. After connecting via the app, I can preview videos instantly, and I've set it to high resolution in the settings to capture details. It's crucial to manage the SD card properly—checking its capacity after each long trip and replacing it when full to prevent overwriting and losing footage. Keeping the lens clean is also important; regular wiping avoids dust-induced blurriness. It performs reliably even in rainy or foggy conditions, helping monitor road conditions and enhancing safety. Overall, the experience is seamless.

How far can a BMW drive after the oil light comes on?

There are three types of oil lights: one is the maintenance light, one is the yellow light (level light), and the other is the red light (pressure light). The first two lights can still be driven when they are on. When the yellow light flashes, you can drive up to 60 kilometers at most. When the red light is on, you cannot drive. Engine fault light: Engine temperature is too high, engine misfire, severe engine carbon deposits, poor fuel quality, sensor damage. Oil fault light: Insufficient engine oil, excessive oil viscosity, blocked or improperly adjusted pressure relief valve, insufficient oil volume. Tire pressure fault light: Insufficient or excessive tire pressure, tire pressure light not reset. Transmission fault light. Transmission valve body blockage, transmission sensor failure, transmission controller failure. Maintenance reminder light: The car needs maintenance, insufficient oil pressure.

What Are the Consequences of a Car Being Uninsured for One Day?

Even one day of car insurance lapse has consequences. Car insurance is divided into compulsory traffic insurance and commercial insurance. After the compulsory traffic insurance lapses, the vehicle is not allowed on the road. If the car is driven and discovered by traffic police, penalties such as fines and vehicle impoundment may be imposed. If the compulsory traffic insurance lapses for more than 48 hours, the premium discount for the following year will no longer apply. If a traffic accident occurs during the lapse of commercial insurance, the insurance company will not be liable for any accident losses. Generally, if the commercial insurance lapses for more than 3 months but less than 6 months (inclusive), the no-claim bonus coefficient will increase, and the customer loyalty coefficient will remain normal. If the lapse exceeds 6 months, the premium will increase, the premium discount for the following year will no longer apply, and renewal will be treated as a new car policy. Motor vehicles driven on the road without displaying license plates, inspection compliance labels, compulsory traffic insurance labels, or without carrying the vehicle registration certificate or driver's license will be impounded by the public security traffic management department. The parties involved will be notified to provide the corresponding documents, labels, or complete the necessary procedures.
