How to Use the High and Low Beams of a Car?
1 Answers
The car light switch is mostly integrated into the lever-type switch on the left side of the steering wheel, while some models feature a rotary knob for the light switch. Turn or push the button to the designated position, and the corresponding exterior lights will illuminate, with the dashboard also displaying the respective indicator. The high beam is generally activated by pushing the lever forward or pulling it inward. Pushing it forward keeps the high beam continuously on, while pulling it inward once causes the high and low beams to flash alternately. Use low beams when driving straight through an intersection at night, meeting another motor vehicle at night, following another vehicle closely in the same direction at night, or driving on a road with streetlights at night. Use high beams when driving on unlit roads at night.
