How to Use the Headlight Switch on a Chevrolet Cruze?
2 Answers
The headlight switch on the Chevrolet Cruze is integrated into the stalk-type switch on the left side of the steering wheel. For some models, the light switch is a rotary knob. Simply turn or move it to the designated position, and the corresponding lights will turn off or on, while the dashboard will also display or hide the corresponding indicators. The Chevrolet Cruze is a compact car equipped with two engines: a 1.5L and a 1.4T, with maximum power outputs of 114 horsepower and 150 horsepower, respectively. In terms of the transmission system, the 1.4T model is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the 1.5L model comes with either a 6-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission. Regarding body dimensions, the Chevrolet Cruze measures 4666mm in length, 1807mm in width, and 1460mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2700mm.
I've driven a Cruze for five years. The light switch is on the left stalk of the steering wheel. The rotary knob has several positions: turn to OFF to turn everything off, usually just turn to AUTO and the lights will automatically turn on at night, which is super convenient; turn one notch to the parking light position on rainy evenings, and the dashboard will light up; turn to HEAD for low beams. To turn on the high beams, push the entire stalk toward the front of the car, and a blue indicator will light up on the dashboard. To turn on the fog lights, remember to pull the knob outward when the low beams are on—one pull for the front fog lights, two pulls for the rear fog lights. By the way, to flash the high beams as a reminder to the car in front, just gently pull the stalk toward you. Remember to turn it back to OFF before parking and locking the car, otherwise the battery may drain easily.
