How to Use the Engine Start-Stop Function in the Lamando?
1 Answers
The Lamando's automatic start-stop system uses a mechanical button. To activate or deactivate it, simply press the button. The automatic start-stop function can only be manually turned off each time or permanently disabled through hidden coding. Some models are equipped with both auto-hold and automatic start-stop functions, eliminating the need to keep the foot on the brake pedal, thereby reducing driver fatigue and improving fuel efficiency. The automatic start-stop system shuts off the engine, but unless the vehicle is also equipped with auto-hold, the driver must keep the brake pedal depressed during this process. The engine will automatically restart when it detects the foot leaving the brake pedal. Auto-hold locks the wheels, removing the need for the driver to press the brake pedal. The brake is released and the vehicle moves forward when the accelerator pedal is pressed again.
