The electronic handbrake is usually located near the gear lever, marked with a circle containing the letter P. This button is the electronic handbrake button. Essentially, the electronic handbrake functions the same as a conventional handbrake, but it replaces the parking brake handle with a button. The electronic handbrake, also known as the Electronic Parking Brake system (EPB), integrates the temporary braking during driving with the long-term braking function after parking, and it achieves parking braking through electronic control technology.
