How to use the driving mode selection in Changan CS55 Plus?

A more economical and fuel-efficient driving style, suitable for daily commuting. The normal mode is suitable for most people and is the default mode. It is used when driving on roads with light traffic and no significant congestion. Used during highway driving as well as in complex and harsh road conditions such as mud, mountain roads, construction sites, or when higher power demands are required, such as heavy loads.
When I first bought the car, I wasn’t very familiar with the driving mode selection either, but I figured it out later. The Changan CS55 Plus usually has a mode button near the steering wheel or on the center console. After starting the car, you can press it to switch between different driving modes, such as Eco, Sport, and Normal. Every time I switch to Eco mode, the throttle response slows down a bit, making the car feel smoother and more fuel-efficient. In Sport mode, acceleration is faster, which is great for overtaking or driving on highways. It’s recommended to switch modes when the car is parked to avoid mistakes while driving. After using it a few times, you’ll get used to it and can choose the appropriate mode based on road conditions—for example, using Normal mode in rainy weather for better grip. If you can’t find the button, you can check the user manual or control it via the mobile app, which is quite convenient.
