How to use the dash cam of the Teana?

The functions and corresponding usage methods of the Teana's dash cam are as follows: 1. Screen saver function: When the DVR is in standby or recording mode, briefly press the power button to turn the screen saver function on or off; 2. Motion detection function: Set the "Motion Detection" item in the system menu to "On" to activate the motion detection function. When an object moves in front of the DVR, the DVR will automatically start recording. When the object stops moving, it will automatically stop recording and enter detection standby mode. When exiting motion detection, the motion detection function will automatically turn off; 3. Infrared night vision function: When the device is on, press the right key to turn the rear camera's infrared light on or off; 4. Charging: The DVR can be charged by connecting it to a DC5V charger, USB5V charger, or computer USB port. During charging, the red indicator light stays on, and it turns off when fully charged.
I just picked up my Teana last month and spent two days figuring out the dash cam. It automatically starts recording after ignition - that little black box in the middle of the windshield is it. A blinking red light means it's recording, and you can press the save button on the left side of the steering wheel to lock the current video during emergencies. To view footage, park first then long-press the button on the left side of the device for 3 seconds until the blue light flashes, then connect to its WiFi hotspot (network name and password are on the first page of the manual). I recommend using NissanConnect APP - it's ten times better than the built-in interface. The memory card slot is on the right side, supporting up to 128GB - it'll automatically overwrite old files when full. Remember to format the card monthly to avoid missing seconds. Found it stopped recording during heavy rain? Most likely moisture in the connector - just unplug and replug the cigarette lighter adapter after turning off the engine.
