The functions and corresponding usage methods of the Teana's dash cam are as follows: 1. Screen saver function: When the DVR is in standby or recording mode, briefly press the power button to turn the screen saver function on or off; 2. Motion detection function: Set the "Motion Detection" item in the system menu to "On" to activate the motion detection function. When an object moves in front of the DVR, the DVR will automatically start recording. When the object stops moving, it will automatically stop recording and enter detection standby mode. When exiting motion detection, the motion detection function will automatically turn off; 3. Infrared night vision function: When the device is on, press the right key to turn the rear camera's infrared light on or off; 4. Charging: The DVR can be charged by connecting it to a DC5V charger, USB5V charger, or computer USB port. During charging, the red indicator light stays on, and it turns off when fully charged.

I just picked up my Teana last month and spent two days figuring out the dash cam. It automatically starts recording after ignition - that little black box in the middle of the windshield is it. A blinking red light means it's recording, and you can press the save button on the left side of the steering wheel to lock the current video during emergencies. To view footage, park first then long-press the button on the left side of the device for 3 seconds until the blue light flashes, then connect to its WiFi hotspot (network name and password are on the first page of the manual). I recommend using NissanConnect APP - it's ten times better than the built-in interface. The memory card slot is on the right side, supporting up to 128GB - it'll automatically overwrite old files when full. Remember to format the card monthly to avoid missing seconds. Found it stopped recording during heavy rain? Most likely moisture in the connector - just unplug and replug the cigarette lighter adapter after turning off the engine.

How to Install the Screws on a License Plate?

Below are the installation instructions for the fastening screws: 1. After receiving the license plate, there is usually a pack of fastening screws included. Open it and check if the screws are sufficient. According to relevant regulations, the vehicle license plate must be installed with 4 screws on both the front and rear, totaling 8 holes. 2. Take out the license plate screws and insert them into the anti-theft caps while rotating (be careful not to screw them in the wrong direction). 3. Position the license plate correctly, align the screws with the four gaps on the bumper, and secure them with a cross-head screwdriver. Since these screws cannot be removed once tightened, do not tighten them too much initially. Wait until all four screws are in place before tightening each one separately. 4. After tightening, cover the anti-theft caps and press them gently into place.

What does it mean when a BMW electric coolant pump is missing?

It means the electronic water pump has entered power-off protection mode, usually due to a fault in the pump circuit or the pump itself. Here is relevant information about BMW's electronic water pump: 1. Concept: The electronic water pump uses piezoelectric materials as the power device, achieving complete electronic control from operation to drive. It employs an electronic integrated system to fully control liquid transmission, realizing adjustability and precision in liquid transfer - a new type of water pump. 2. Consequences of damage: A faulty electronic water pump in BMW will directly cause the engine temperature to become excessively high, may even prevent the engine from starting, and the dashboard will display a warning light.

How to Deal with Resonance and Gurgling Noise Caused by Timing Belt?

Adjust the tensioner pulley, install balancing weights, and replace the engine mounts. Below are some solutions for the resonance and gurgling noise issue: 1. Symptom: A gurgling sound can be heard inside the cabin when the engine is idling. 2. Analysis: During idling, the tensioner pulley pointer swings left and right, indicating the need to adjust the belt tension. This causes the belt to vibrate and produce a gurgling sound, which may vary in intensity depending on the vehicle model and belt tension. 3. Solution: At the vibration point between the two pulleys at the top, gently press a screwdriver or wrench against the belt while idling. Additionally, install an extra pulley between the two pulleys to counteract the vibration.

What Are the Hazards of Crystal Coating for New Cars?

Once a new car undergoes crystal coating, if the coating is discontinued after its validity period expires, the loss of protection will accelerate the aging process of the car paint, causing it to become dull and lose its brightness. Below is a detailed introduction to automotive crystal coating: 1. Concept: Crystal coating is a hard protective layer specifically designed for the care of key areas such as car paint, glass, tires, rims, engines, and interiors. Its main components include polysiloxane, polysilazane, and inorganic silicon. 2. Function: Crystal coating forms a robust fiber network on the car paint surface, filling in microscopic pores invisible to the naked eye, thereby achieving a mirror-like effect. It adds a thin diamond-hard shell to the paint surface, further enhancing the hardness of the paint beyond the original coating and protecting it from damage.

How often should the drain plug be replaced?

The drain plug does not need to be replaced (with very few exceptions), but the drain plug gasket is best replaced every time. Here is some information about the drain plug: 1. Replacement conditions: The drain plug is made of steel and is of good quality. It is difficult to damage under normal usage unless the threads are misaligned and excessive force is applied. Therefore, the drain plug does not need to be replaced. However, some vehicles use a plastic oil pan, in which case the drain plug is a one-time use item and needs to be replaced every time. 2. Gasket: The gasket serves as a seal. Since engine oil is a fluid with strong permeability, and the contact surface between the drain plug and the oil pan cannot be perfectly smooth, if they are in direct contact, the surface will not fit tightly and oil may leak.
