The usage method of the cruise control on the Southeast DX3 is as follows: 1. While driving normally, press the CRUISE button, then reach the desired cruising speed and flick the lever towards the 'set' side. 2. To adjust the cruising speed, move the lever to increase or decrease the speed. Pressing the accelerator or brake will exit the automatic cruise. Pressing 'set' again will restart it. To completely exit the automatic cruise, press 'CANCEL'. 3. In principle, cruise control should be used on highways or fully enclosed roads, as complex road conditions on non-enclosed roads are not conducive to traffic safety.

Using the cruise control feature on the Southeast DX3 is quite convenient, and I often use it when driving on the road. After starting the car, first accelerate to over 40 km/h, usually on open stretches of road. There's a button marked "CRUISE" on the steering wheel—press it lightly to activate the system, and an indicator light will illuminate on the dashboard. Then, accelerate to your desired cruising speed—for example, set it to 100 km/h on the highway—and press the "SET" button to lock it in. After that, you can release the accelerator, and the car will automatically maintain that speed. If you want to slightly adjust the speed slower or faster, use the adjacent "+" and "-" buttons, which increase or decrease the speed by about 5 km/h per press. To pause the system, lightly tap the brake or press the "CANCEL" button to deactivate it; press "RES" to resume the previous setting. Be cautious not to use cruise control on winding roads, during rainy or foggy conditions, or in congested urban traffic to avoid delayed reactions. This feature is most suitable for long-distance highway driving, as it helps reduce fatigue. Also, operation may vary slightly between different model years, so checking the owner's manual is advisable for accuracy.

Don't be nervous when driving as a beginner, learning to use the DX3's cruise control is easy. First, make sure your speed exceeds 40 km/h, such as on a flat highway section, and steadily accelerate to your desired cruising speed. Look for the button near the steering wheel, usually labeled "CRUISE," and press it to activate the system. Then, after accelerating to your target speed, press the "SET" button to lock it in. At this point, you can take your foot off the accelerator to rest, as the car will maintain the speed automatically. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust and slow down or speed up. To exit cruise control, simply press the brake or the cancel button; to resume your set speed, press "RES." It's normal to feel hesitant at first, but with a few tries under safe conditions, you'll get the hang of it. Remember to only activate it on simple stretches like straight roads or areas with light traffic, avoiding turns or rainy days for safety. Regularly checking your tire pressure ensures the system works properly.

Using cruise control requires extra caution for safe driving. Before operating the DX3's cruise control, the vehicle speed must exceed 40 km/h, and complex road sections such as mountainous areas or rainy zones should be avoided. Press the "CRUISE" button to activate it, then press "SET" to lock the speed. Stay focused and keep your hands on the steering wheel, as immediate control is needed in sudden situations like animals crossing or sharp turns. Stepping on the brake automatically cancels cruise control; use "RES" to resume. Remember to avoid enabling it in high-risk areas to reduce accident probability. Monitoring road conditions and traffic flow is a fundamental requirement.
