How to use the cruise control on the Southeast DX3?

The operation method of cruise control is as follows: 1. Press the control switch to activate the cruise control standby mode, then accelerate and push the control lever downward to set the cruise speed; 2. To accelerate, push the control lever upward or step on the accelerator; 3. To cancel the cruise control, you can lift the control lever upward, turn off the main cruise control switch, step on the accelerator pedal, or lightly tap the brake. The usage method of cruise control is as follows: 1. Press the power key to turn on the cruise control system (some cars may have the on and off functions on the same key, while others may have separate keys). At this point, the cruise control indicator light on the dashboard will illuminate. 2. Increase the speed to your desired level, then press the SET key. You can then release the accelerator with your right foot, and the speed will be maintained at the current level. 3. If you need to fine-tune the speed, you can use the RES and SET- keys for adjustments. 4. Additionally, there are three ways to deactivate the cruise control: stepping on the brake, pressing the CANCEL key, or pressing the ON/OFF key. 5. If the cruise control is canceled by stepping on the brake or pressing the cancel key, you can press the RES key to resume the previous cruise control speed.
I've tried the cruise control function several times in my Southeast DX3, and it's quite straightforward. After starting the car and driving onto a highway or smooth road, the speed needs to be at least 40 km/h for it to work. There's usually a cruise button on the right side of the steering wheel labeled CRUISE—press it to activate the system. Then, accelerate to your desired speed, say 100 km/h, and press the SET button to lock it in. At this point, the throttle is automatically controlled, giving your foot a much-needed break. Use RES+ and SET- to fine-tune the speed for acceleration or deceleration. Pressing the brake or accelerator will temporarily cancel the cruise control, but you can resume the original speed by pressing the RES button. Be careful not to use it in the city—it's too crowded and dangerous. This feature makes long drives much easier. Last year, I relied on it during a 500-kilometer trip to reduce fatigue, and it was super convenient. Remember, the system is just an assist—always keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. In case of an emergency, brake immediately and take control. Safety first.
