Skoda Octavia's cruise control is used as follows: 1. Press the on/off key to activate the cruise control system; 2. Accelerate to the desired speed, press the set key and release the throttle, the speed will be fixed at the current speed; 3. Step on the brake, press the cancel key, or press the on/off key to turn off the cruise control. The Skoda Octavia is a 5-door, 5-seat hatchback with body dimensions of 4675mm in length, 1814mm in width, 1460mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2686mm. It is equipped with a 1.2T turbocharged engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, with a maximum power of 85 kW and a maximum torque of 200 Nm.
I remember when I first drove my friend's Octavia, I specifically studied the cruise control. On the left multifunction button area of the steering wheel, you can see a button with a speedometer icon. After starting the vehicle, press this button to activate the system, and a white cruise light will illuminate on the dashboard. Accelerate to the desired speed, then press the SET paddle at the top left of the steering wheel, and you can take your foot off the accelerator—the dashboard light will turn green. For temporary acceleration to overtake, simply press the accelerator; releasing it will automatically return to the set speed. To pause cruise control, press the brake or the button with a cross icon. To resume the previous speed, press the RES button. On the highway, I basically use it the entire time—it's very effortless—but be careful not to use it in rainy weather.
