How to Use the Cruise Control in Honda Avancier?
1 Answers
The cruise control buttons for the Honda Avancier are located on the right side of the steering wheel. The system can only be activated when the vehicle speed is above 40km/h and the gear is in D or DS. Once the cruise control is activated, a corresponding indicator light will illuminate on the instrument panel. The Honda Avancier comes standard with cruise control across all models. Using the cruise control on open roads allows the driver to maintain a constant speed without keeping their foot on the accelerator pedal. Below are the steps to use the cruise control in the Avancier: 1. Activate Cruise Control: Press the CRUISE button on the steering wheel. The CRUISE MAIN indicator light on the instrument panel will illuminate, indicating that the cruise control is ready for use. 2. Set the Speed: Accelerate the vehicle to the desired speed, then remove your foot from the pedal and press the RES/+/SET/- switch. The set speed is confirmed the moment you release the switch. The CRUISE CONTROL indicator light will illuminate, and the multimedia information screen will display the set speed. 3. Adjust the Speed: Push the RES/+/SET/- switch up or down to increase or decrease the cruising speed. Each push changes the speed by 1.6km/h; holding the switch will continuously increase or decrease the speed until the switch is released. 4. Cancel Cruise Control: Press the CANCEL button, press the CRUISE button, or step on the brake pedal to deactivate the cruise control. After the cruise control is turned off, the cruise control indicator light and the related speed display will turn off.
