How to use the Camry dash cam?

The most basic dash cam has 5 buttons with different functions. Before use, first insert the memory card. Press and hold the power button to turn it on or off. The mode button can switch between recording, photo or preview modes. Selecting the recording mode will automatically start recording, press the confirm button to pause; in photo mode, press the confirm button to take a photo. In preview mode, use the up and down buttons to select video or photo files, press OK to play or pause, and press the mode button to exit.
I've been driving a Camry for several years and found the dashcam quite simple to use. The first step is installation: if not pre-installed, I bought an aftermarket one myself, routed the wiring from the cigarette lighter for power, and fixed it behind the rearview mirror on the windshield. The second step is startup settings: it automatically powers on when the ignition starts, press the MENU button to enter the menu and set the resolution to 1080p, enable loop recording to avoid full storage. During daily use, the dashcam automatically records the entire journey, press the emergency button to save the footage in case of an accident. You can directly playback through the car's front screen, or remove the memory card and insert it into a computer to view. I recommend regularly cleaning the lens from dust, checking the storage space weekly, and manually formatting when full. This device truly enhances safety—I successfully claimed compensation for a rear-end collision using the footage. Developing the habit is crucial.
