The dashboard consists of instruments, a multi-information display, and system indicator lights, among other components, which provide feedback on the working status of the vehicle system. When a red indicator light appears on the Avancier's dashboard, it indicates that the vehicle should not continue to be driven. Switch the display to show odometer, trip meter, outside temperature, average fuel consumption, instant fuel consumption, remaining driving range, elapsed time, average speed, and other information.

When I first got the CR-V, I also explored the instrument panel. The arrow buttons on the right side of the steering wheel are the most commonly used: left and right for switching songs or radio stations, up and down for scrolling through driving data. To check fuel consumption, press the TRIP button at the lower right of the steering wheel to cycle through trip information. If you need to calibrate the tire pressure monitoring, you must find the vehicle option in the central control settings to reset it. Don’t panic if the icons start jumping around—just press and hold the small home button next to the volume knob for ten seconds to force a reboot of the infotainment system. By the way, the instrument theme can be changed in the SETTING menu on the left side of the steering wheel. I prefer the blue tech-themed interface, as it’s easy on the eyes during night driving.

As a commuter, I check the Avancier's dashboard every day. The 7-inch screen embedded in the left speedometer displays incredibly rich information: the radar icon turns yellow to remind you to keep distance when following a car, and the slippery road icon flashes on rainy days. The scroll wheel on the left side of the steering wheel quickly brings up fuel consumption statistics—I secretly rejoice when I hit 7.8L. To project navigation onto the screen, you first need to enable HUD linkage in the car's system. On highways, glancing at the dashboard is much safer than turning your head. A word of caution: don’t randomly adjust the safety system settings. Once, I accidentally turned off the lane-keeping icon and kept getting alarms when changing lanes.

The actual test shows that the Avancier's dashboard has three core interactions: 1. Steering wheel button controls, with the combination of the menu button and scroll wheel offering the highest operation efficiency; 2. Central control touchscreen linkage, such as turning off the start-stop function which requires touchscreen operation; 3. Voice activation for specific commands, like saying 'Hello Honda, show tire pressure' to refresh data in real time. The high-end version's head-up display can project three sets of information, but it automatically simplifies the dashboard interface when activated. Emergency icon memory: a yellow triangle indicates a pre-collision warning, while a red oil can means you should stop immediately.

The digital instrument cluster in the Avancier hides practical Easter eggs. Switching to Sport mode instantly turns the dials red, with the tachometer scale glowing red. In ECON mode, you can see the energy recovery bar jump every time you release the accelerator. Want to access the G-sensor? Hold the TRIP button for five seconds to enter engineering mode. For night driving, it's recommended to turn off the colorful theme—the clean white version is the most eye-friendly. The cluster brightness can be adjusted independently in the central control settings under Display Options, and don’t forget to sync the HUD brightness to avoid visual disconnect. The default font size is relatively small; drivers aged 60 and above are advised to increase the font size in the system's accessibility settings.
