How to use the automatic parking in CRV?

CRV automatic parking usage method: The CRV automatic parking button is located on the left side of the gear lever. The usage method is very simple. After starting the engine, press the BRAKEHOLD button to activate it. Once the automatic parking function is enabled, you don't need to pull the handbrake when waiting at traffic lights. The CRV's drive system is a dual-pump real-time four-wheel drive. Under normal conditions, it operates as a front-wheel drive. When encountering adverse road conditions such as rain, snow, or sand, causing the front drive wheels to slip, the hydraulic system will promptly distribute torque to the rear wheels, enabling four-wheel drive until the road conditions return to normal. The CRV is equipped with SRS dual airbags, door beams, front and rear 3-point ELR seat belts, seat belt reminders, and a seat safety system with pre-tensioners and load limiters.
I find the CRV's auto hold feature extremely convenient to use. After starting the car, locate and press the button labeled 'Auto Hold' on the center console to activate it. When stopping at a red light, press the brake pedal until the car comes to a complete stop, and the system will automatically lock the brakes, eliminating the need to keep your foot on the pedal. At this point, you can relax your foot, change songs, or grab something. When the light turns green, simply press the accelerator lightly to move, with quick response. This feature is incredibly useful in traffic jams or during long red lights, reducing fatigue and preventing the risk of rolling back. Just remember it only works in D gear, not N gear, and ensure the button is lit when activating the system. Be cautious on slopes to ensure the ground is level to prevent unintended movement. With a bit of practice during daily stops, you'll get used to it quickly.
I've been using the CRV's Auto Hold feature for a long time, it's practically a daily essential. First, start the engine and drive, then press the Auto Hold button to turn it on—just make sure the indicator light is on. When you come to a stop and firmly press the brake, it automatically holds the brake for you. To start moving again, just tap the accelerator—no need to keep pressing the brake pedal. The advantage is that it frees up your hands for things like drinking tea or adjusting the AC when you're busy. The system works very reliably, but always check the button status before activating to ensure it's engaged. It also holds the car steady on slopes. Once you get used to it, it saves a lot of effort, especially during peak urban commutes and traffic jams—it's a real stress reliever.
