The method to use the automatic parking feature in Audi A4L is as follows: 1. Turn on the parking assist function and drive at a speed below 40 km/h, then press the parking assist switch located on the right side of the gear lever on the center console to activate it; 2. When the system detects a suitable parking space, it will display it on the screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to position the car correctly, shift into reverse gear, and the parking process will begin. In terms of dimensions, the Audi A4L measures 4818 mm in length, 1843 mm in width, and 1432 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2908 mm. Regarding powertrain options, the Audi A4L is available in three variants: 30TFSI, 40TFSI, and 45TFSI. Except for the 30TFSI model, which is equipped with a 1.4T engine, all other models feature the EA888 series 2.0T turbocharged engine, available in high and low power versions.

Last time I tried the automatic parking feature in my friend's new Audi A4L, it was quite convenient. First, find the button on the center console with a 'P' and directional arrows next to it. Press it, and the screen will prompt that it's searching for a parking space. Then, maintain a speed below 30km/h while passing by a parking spot. When the system recognizes a space, it will display 'Parking space found.' Next, shift into reverse and confirm on the screen. After releasing the steering wheel, the car takes over the steering, and you can see the virtual parking trajectory on the screen. Always be ready to brake by paying attention to the surroundings. Once parked, remember to engage the handbrake and shift into 'P' mode. Note that the system may not recognize spaces accurately in rainy conditions or when it's too dark, and positions with pillars can easily scratch the wheel hubs.

I usually activate the automatic parking system before entering the underground garage, as this increases the success rate when passing parking spaces. The key is to drive slowly and steadily past an empty space that's 1.5 times the length of the car. When a gray 'P' icon appears on the dashboard, it means the system has detected a spot. At this point, shifting into reverse will prompt the message 'Start parking?'. After confirming, the steering wheel will automatically turn—just keep your hands hovering lightly over it. If you're not satisfied with the position, you can pause the process by pressing the brake at any time. Finally, the car will straighten the wheels automatically once parked, often aligning more precisely than I could manually. Remember to adjust the mirrors downward to check the distance from the curb, as some short posts might not be detected by the radar.

When using automatic parking, pay attention to the changes in dashboard icons. After pressing the parking button, a steering wheel icon on the screen indicates it's searching for a spot, and a 'P' with an arrow means a parking space has been found. After shifting to R (reverse), remember to check the central display for prompts—you'll need to press 'Confirm' to start parking. During the process, control the speed with the brake; the steering will turn automatically, but keep your hands on the wheel. For particularly tight spots, the system may take two attempts to park. If you hear rapid radar beeping, gently press the brake. When parked on a slope, remember to engage the handbrake manually—the system won't do it automatically.
