The auto start-stop switch in the Envision is located on the right side of the center console screen and is a mechanical button. To turn it off, simply press the corresponding button. The start-stop system works by stopping the engine when the vehicle comes to a halt due to traffic congestion or at intersections, and the driver presses the brake pedal and shifts to neutral. Possible reasons why the auto start-stop in the Buick Envision may not work include: 1. The start-stop function is only activated when the battery charge is above 60%. 2. The interior temperature must not be below 6°C, and the exterior temperature must not be below 18°C. 3. The engine has not reached the standard operating temperature. 4. If the steering wheel is turned more than 30 degrees, the start-stop function may not work to prevent accidents.
