Below the central control screen of the Ford Territory, there are physical buttons arranged with a good design and solid tactile feedback. However, except for the air conditioning power switch and the auto button, all other air conditioning adjustments are integrated into the central control screen. To adjust seat ventilation or the direction of air flow, you need to access the secondary interface. Although you can view air conditioning information and adjust temperature and fan speed on the main interface, the small font size makes it quite effort-consuming to adjust while driving. Air conditioning precautions: 1. Do not turn on the heating immediately when warming up the car in the morning. Wait until the engine coolant temperature rises before activating the air conditioning. 2. Avoid setting the air conditioning temperature too high. Excessively hot temperatures for prolonged periods can cause drowsiness and affect driving. Also, avoid directing warm air straight at your face. 3. If the windows start fogging up after turning on the heater, most people tend to turn off the heater or use cold air to clear the fog, which can lead to repeated fogging. Instead, increase the heater fan speed and let it blow for a while longer—this will make the fog disappear without recurring. 4. If the airflow is weak and cannot be increased, check if the air filter is clogged with dust. Otherwise, there might be an issue with the airflow regulator, requiring a visit to a repair shop. 5. During long drives, periodically ventilate the cabin. A confined space with poor air circulation can eventually cause breathing discomfort for passengers. Simply roll down the windows slightly—a small gap is sufficient. 6. Turn off the air conditioning before parking and switch to external circulation with natural air. This helps clean the air conditioning system's ducts and prevents bacterial growth.
