To use the air conditioning in a Lexus ES, follow these steps: 1. Press the brake pedal firmly to the floor; 2. Press the one-touch start button to start the engine; 3. After the engine starts, let it idle for about 10 minutes to allow the water temperature to rise; 4. Press the fan speed button to increase the airflow and speed; 5. Press the AUTO button on the automatic air conditioning system to activate it, and the air conditioning will turn on. The Lexus ES has a body length of 4975mm, width of 1866mm, height of 1447mm, a wheelbase of 2870mm, and a fuel tank capacity of 60.6L. The headlights of the Lexus ES feature a sharp and aggressive design, equipped with standard automatic headlights, adaptive high beams, LED high and low beams, and LED daytime running lights.
Using the air conditioning in my Lexus ES is quite straightforward: After starting the car, simply locate the AUTO button on the center console and press it. The system will automatically monitor the cabin temperature and adjust the cooling/heating and fan speed accordingly. To adjust the temperature, just turn the rotary knob to set your desired level—for example, 24°C in summer keeps you cool while saving fuel. You can manually increase or decrease the fan speed using the buttons nearby, though letting the system handle it most of the time works fine.
Via the center screen, you can also switch between recirculation and fresh air modes: Use fresh air mode (external circulation) on clear days to bring in outside air, and switch to recirculation mode when pollution or pollen levels are high to prevent allergies. Don’t overlook regular air filter checks and replacements to maintain fresh cabin air quality—this ensures a more comfortable drive.
At startup, avoid blasting the AC immediately. Instead, roll down the windows briefly for ventilation before turning on the AC. This approach enhances comfort and prolongs the system’s durability.
