Press the blue button on the right side of the steering wheel to activate cruise control. Click the auxiliary switch at the bottom left of the center console to turn on the steering assist function. When the desired speed is reached, press the set button to activate cruise control and maintain the speed. Press the plus button to increase speed and the minus button to decrease speed. Press the button on the left to adjust the following distance. Temporarily exit by pressing cancel or applying the brakes. To fully exit, press the blue cruise control button once more.
I just started driving the 2021 Teana not long ago and find the cruise control super convenient on the highway. After getting in the car, first press the accelerator to reach your desired speed, say 90 km/h. Look at the small area on the right side of the steering wheel labeled CRUISE, and press the ON switch to activate the system. Then press the SET button to lock in the current speed. To fine-tune the speed, use the plus or minus buttons nearby—each press of the plus button increases speed by about 1.6 km/h, and the minus button does the opposite. If you need to temporarily cancel it, just hit the brake or use the CANCEL button; later, pressing RES will restore the previous speed. Don’t rely on it too much during long trips—staying alert to road conditions is key. It’s best to turn it off in rainy weather or heavy traffic to avoid accidents. I recommend practicing in an open area first to familiarize yourself with the button locations and avoid fumbling around while driving.
