Press the cruise control icon button on the left side of the steering wheel to activate standby mode. When the vehicle speed reaches above 40km/h, press the SET button to engage cruise control. Release the accelerator pedal, and the vehicle will maintain the current speed. During cruise control operation, press the + button to increase speed or the - button to decrease speed without using the accelerator pedal.
Using cruise control on the T-Roc is super convenient, and I often use it for long highway drives. First, start the vehicle and wait until the speed reaches around 30 km/h before operating. On the left side of the steering wheel, find the button with the ACC label and press it to activate the system. Then, drive to your desired speed, say 80 km/h, lightly tap the SET button to lock it in—a green light on the screen indicates it's active. To adjust speed, press the + or - buttons with arrows next to it, changing by 1 km/h per tap. Another button adjusts the following distance from the car ahead, with three levels to choose from—usually the middle setting is fine. While driving, it automatically controls speed, so you can relax your foot a bit. But don’t slack off—keep an eye on the road at all times. Pressing the brake immediately cancels it. Avoid using it in the city or during rain, as it can be risky. Regularly clean the front of the car and radar area to prevent sensor dirt from affecting performance. This system makes long drives much more comfortable, but don’t rely on it too much.
