Roewe's cruise control is operated via the lever switch on the left side of the steering wheel. When the ignition switch is in the ON position and the cruise lever switch is in the ON position, the cruise control system is in standby mode. When the current speed exceeds 40 km/h, pressing the set button at the end of the cruise lever switch activates the cruise system. Once activated, the cruise system will maintain the target speed without the need to press the accelerator pedal. Taking the Roewe 350 as an example: its body dimensions are 4521mm in length, 1788mm in width, and 1492mm in height, equipped with a 1.5T engine that delivers a maximum torque of 210 Nm. The 1.5T engine utilizes multi-point fuel injection and multi-angle continuous variable valve timing technology, along with platinum spark plugs, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission featuring high-efficiency, high-precision transmission gears and an ECO economic driving mode.

The cruise control operation of Roewe is actually quite easy to get used to. I usually use it when driving on highways. First, locate the cruise control button on the left side of the steering wheel (usually a speedometer icon), press it to activate the system, and a white cruise indicator will appear on the dashboard. When the speed reaches above 40 km/h (60 km/h or above is recommended in urban areas), press the SET/- button to lock the current speed. After that, there's no need to press the accelerator pedal—the car will maintain the speed automatically. To accelerate, press RES/+, which increases the speed by 1-2 km/h per press; to decelerate, use the SET/- button. If the car ahead slows down, lightly tapping the brake will pause the cruise control, and pressing RES/+ again will resume it once the road conditions allow. Note: avoid using it during rainy days or on winding roads, and never take your hands off the steering wheel—safety comes first. Long-term use can save effort, but sudden situations still require human reaction.

How Often Should You Replace Your Car Remote Key Battery?

Generally, the battery life of a car remote key is about 2-3 years, depending on the frequency of use, and it may vary for different car models, making it difficult to determine an exact replacement time. When the control distance of the car key is less than half of the maximum remote distance, or less than about six meters, it's time to replace the battery promptly. Here are a few signs that your car key battery is running low: 1. Reduced effective range of the car key remote: Previously, you could unlock the car from within 6 meters, but when the battery is low, you need to get closer to the car, sometimes even right next to it, for it to respond. This indicates that the car key battery is about to die. 2. Unreliable remote door operation: When trying to unlock the car, the remote may work intermittently, sometimes requiring multiple presses to get a response. This is a sign that the car key battery is running low. 3. Indicator light on the car key: If you notice that the indicator light on the car key is much dimmer than usual, or if it flickers on and off, this means the car key battery is nearly depleted and needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

How long can the annual inspection be overdue?

Annual inspection cannot be postponed. According to regulations, the annual inspection should be applied for within 90 days (about 3 months) in advance of the deadline. At the same time, all traffic violations of the vehicle must be handled before the annual inspection. As long as the annual inspection validity period is exceeded, it will be considered overdue, and the penalty will be 3 points deducted and a fine of 200 yuan. Problems caused by not conducting annual inspection: 1. If an accident occurs without annual inspection, the claim will not be compensated. According to the "Motor Vehicle Third Party Liability Insurance Clause", if the insured vehicle is not inspected as required or fails the annual inspection, or the insured vehicle does not have other valid driving documents at the time of a traffic accident, the insurer will not be liable for compensation. That is, the insurance contract stipulates that it only applies to qualified and legal vehicles. In addition to not paying for traffic accidents involving vehicles that have not undergone annual inspection on time, the insurance company will also refuse to pay for lost vehicles. 2. Vehicles that do not undergo annual inspection will be impounded and fined. For vehicles that do not participate in the annual inspection, the police can impose a fine of 200 yuan and deduct 3 points in accordance with the "Road Traffic Safety Law", and the vehicle will also be temporarily impounded.

How to Turn Off the ETC in the Car When Lending It to Others?

For the car's ETC card, the deduction standard is the same no matter who is driving. To avoid deductions after lending the car to someone else, simply remove the bank card from the ETC device. This way, no money will be deducted from the bank card. More information about ETC is as follows: 1. How ETC works: ETC involves an electronic chip-equipped card installed in the car, which is bound to a bank card. When exiting the highway or passing through a toll station, there's no need to take a card or use cash; simply drive through the designated lane, and the toll is automatically deducted from the linked bank card via sensing. ETC is a non-stop electronic toll collection system that uses microwave short-range communication between the vehicle's electronic tag (installed on the windshield) and the microwave antenna in the ETC lane at the toll station, enabling technical and bank backend settlement processing. This allows vehicles to pass through toll stations without stopping to pay tolls. 2. The role of ETC: It can significantly improve the traffic capacity at entrances and exits, enhance the user experience for car owners, and achieve convenient and quick access to parking lots. It allows drivers to bypass long queues at manual toll booths and drive directly through the less congested ETC lanes without stopping. The service capacity of one ETC lane is equivalent to that of 3 to 5 manual exit lanes.

Can Chain Wax Replace Chain Oil?

Motorcycles are better off using chain oil. Chain wax can only protect the surface and is suitable for long-term parking. Below is relevant information about chain oil: 1. Introduction: Chain oil is a type of industrial lubricant used for lubricating and rust-proofing various chains, reducing friction and wear. It can improve transmission efficiency and extend the lifespan of chains. 2. Features: Superior wear resistance, reducing consumption caused by chain adhesion. Lowers costs and extends the service life of chains. Extremely low volatility, resulting in less oil consumption. Thermal stability, anti-aging, long-term lubrication, extended service intervals, reduced maintenance, and lower labor costs.

What does the U1218 fault code mean?

U1218 is a fault code related to the ECU (Electronic Control Unit). Here is more relevant information: ECU (Electronic Control Unit): 1. The ECU's operating voltage range is generally between 6.5-16V (with internal voltage stabilization), operating current between 0.015-0.1A, and operating temperature between -40°C to 80°C. It can withstand vibrations below 1000Hz, making the probability of ECU failure very low. The CPU is the core component of the ECU, responsible for computation and control functions. While the engine is running, the ECU collects signals from various sensors, performs calculations, and converts the results into control signals to manage the operation of controlled components. 2. The ECU also controls the memory (ROM, RAM), input/output interfaces (I/O), and other external circuits. The program stored in the ROM memory is based on precise calculations and extensive experimental data. During engine operation, this built-in program continuously compares and calculates with the signals collected from various sensors. 3. The results of these comparisons and calculations control multiple engine parameters such as ignition, air-fuel ratio, idle speed, and exhaust gas recirculation. Additionally, the ECU has self-diagnostic and protective functions. When a fault occurs in the system, it automatically records the fault code in the RAM and implements protective measures by reading substitute programs from the built-in program to keep the engine running, allowing the vehicle to be driven to a repair shop.
