My GAC Trumpchi GS3 is equipped with this remote start feature, which is quite convenient. I always like to use the mobile app to start it before heading out. The usual steps are to lock the car doors first, then log into the GAC Trumpchi official app with my account linked to the vehicle, and simply tap the remote start icon. The system will automatically warm up the engine and adjust the air conditioning. For the high-end version with a smart key, you can also press and hold the start button for 5 seconds while the car is locked to activate it. Don’t worry about safety—once the engine starts, the doors automatically lock, preventing unauthorized access, and the system defaults to shutting off after 10 minutes to prevent accidents. I usually use it to warm up the car in winter and cool it down in summer, saving a lot of time. New car owners are advised to ensure a stable mobile network before operating it.
