How to Use Paddle Shifters in a Car?
1 Answers
Car paddle shifters are operated using two paddles marked with plus and minus signs. Each pull of the paddle executes the corresponding gear shift. These shift paddles are located at the back of the car's steering wheel, with the right paddle for upshifting and the left paddle for downshifting. This shifting method enhances the driver's comfort and reduces the likelihood of distraction. The specific steps for operation are as follows: 1. Press the car's brake pedal firmly all the way down until it cannot be pressed further. 2. Press the car's one-touch start button to ignite the engine and let it idle. 3. Place the car's automatic transmission lever in the D position to enter automatic mode. 4. Pull the plus paddle on the right side of the steering wheel once to increase one gear. 5. Pull the minus paddle on the left side of the steering wheel once to decrease one gear.
