How to Use Honda HI and LO?

Press the brake pedal and push the one-touch start button of the car. The dashboard lights up, and the vehicle's power is turned on. Press the HI position of the seat heating switch located at the leg area of the seat. At this point, the driver's seat has entered the high-speed heating mode. Press the LO position of the seat heating switch located at the leg area of the seat. At this point, the driver's seat has entered the low-speed heating mode.
When I first started driving my Honda, it took me some time to figure out the lighting controls. 'Hi' stands for high beam, used to enhance visibility on unlit roads at night—just push the turn signal lever all the way forward. 'Lo' is the low beam, suitable for city driving or when there's oncoming traffic, simply pull it back to the middle position. A quick pull on the lever also allows for a flash to alert others. During my daily commute in the suburbs, I use 'Hi' for better long-distance visibility when the road is clear, but I immediately switch back to 'Lo' when I see headlights ahead to avoid glare and potential accidents. The transition is smooth, and Honda's design is very thoughtful. In rainy or foggy conditions, I use 'Lo' along with fog lights to reduce reflection and enhance safety. I also make it a habit to maintain the lights, regularly checking if the bulbs are functioning properly to avoid the embarrassment of a sudden failure. Developing the habit of switching beams is important—it not only saves energy but also reflects courteous driving. I recommend new owners practice in different road conditions to get the hang of it.
