How to Use Honda Cruise Control?
2 Answers
Press the cruise control button on the right side of the steering wheel, and you will see the cruise control indicator light up on the dashboard. Accelerate to your desired cruising speed, such as 120 km/h (note that cruise control only works when the speed exceeds 40 km/h). Press the set/deceleration button. The cruise control indicator on the dashboard will light up, indicating that the cruise system is activated.
Using cruise control for long-distance driving is especially worry-free, and Honda owners should know the operation is actually quite simple. First, wait until the speed exceeds 40 km/h, then press the cruise button on the steering wheel with the speedometer icon, and a green indicator light will illuminate on the dashboard. At this point, accelerate the car to the desired speed and press the SET button to lock in the current speed. To make minor speed adjustments on the road, use the +/- buttons, with each press changing the speed by 1 km/h. If you need to overtake, simply press the accelerator pedal, and after overtaking, release the pedal to automatically resume cruise control. To cancel, either press the brake pedal or the CANCEL button. Never use it in rainy conditions as slippery roads can lead to skidding. When following another car at high speed, remember to maintain a safe distance—safety is the top priority.
