The usage method of Haval cruise control is as follows: 1. Activate cruise and set speed: First press CRUISE to enable the cruise function, the white cruise light on the dashboard will illuminate. When the vehicle speed reaches the desired cruise speed, press the SET minus key, and the cruise light on the dashboard will turn green, indicating the speed is set. Release the accelerator to maintain the set speed. 2. Decrease cruise speed: While in cruise mode, press SET again to reduce the speed by 1.6km/h each time. Hold SET to continuously decrease the speed. 3. Increase cruise speed: While in cruise mode, press RES to increase the speed by 1.6km/h each time. Hold RES to continuously increase the speed. 4. Accelerate for overtaking: After overtaking, releasing the accelerator will gradually slow down to the set cruise speed and continue cruising. 5. Pause/Resume cruise: Press the brake or CANCEL to temporarily stop cruise control. The cruise light will change from green to white. Press RES at a speed not lower than 40km/h to resume cruising at the previous speed. When the speed drops below 40km/h, the stored speed is lost and cannot be resumed. 6. Turn off cruise: Press CRUISE to deactivate cruise control, and the cruise light will turn off.
I love using cruise control when driving my Haval H6 on highways! Here's my usual operation: After exceeding 40km/h, first press the cruise button with the speedometer icon on the right side of the steering wheel, and a white cruise indicator will appear on the dashboard. Then accelerate to your desired speed, say 80km/h, and push the SET- lever downward to lock the speed - the indicator turns green. For minor speed adjustments, flick the RES+ or SET- lever up/down, with each flick changing speed by 1km/h. Braking or pressing CANCEL will temporarily deactivate it, while RES+ resumes the last set speed. Important reminder: On long descents, better shift to manual mode or control speed via brakes as cruise's engine braking might be insufficient. Never use this feature in urban areas or winding roads - it's unsafe.
