Usage method of cruise control in the 10th generation Accord: 1. Press the Cruise main switch button on the upper right side of the steering wheel, and the green letter light CruiseMain on the instrument panel will illuminate simultaneously, indicating that the cruise control system is in standby mode; 2. Accelerate the vehicle to the desired speed (cruise control can only be activated when the speed exceeds 40 km/h), then press the DecelSet button; 3. To end cruise control, either depress the brake pedal or press the Cancel button to deactivate the cruise mode. In terms of exterior configuration, the 10th generation Accord offers features such as full LED headlights, LED front fog lights, headlight height adjustment, power-adjustable heated folding exterior mirrors, and chrome-plated dual exhaust pipes.
I love using cruise control when driving my 10th-gen Accord on long trips. When the highway conditions are good and the speed exceeds 40 km/h, I press the CRUISE button with the speedometer icon on the right side of the steering wheel, and the green cruise light on the dashboard immediately illuminates. Then, I continue accelerating to the desired speed, such as the highway speed limit of 110 km/h, and press the SET button next to the CRUISE button. At this point, the car will steadily maintain the current speed. On the road, if I want to fine-tune the speed without pressing the accelerator, a short press of the RES button increases the speed by 1.6 km/h each time, while the SET button decreases it by 1.6 km/h. If the car ahead slows down and braking is required, the cruise control automatically pauses. When the road conditions improve, pressing the RES button allows me to return to the original speed. Not having to keep my foot on the accelerator is truly relaxing, and it also saves a lot of fuel. However, don’t get lazy on rainy days or winding mountain roads—it’s safer to take control when visibility is poor.
