CNCL is used to cancel cruise control, and RES is used to resume cruise control. The cruise control function does not activate immediately after turning on the switch. The SET button is for setting the desired speed after pressing it. Buttons for controlling cruise control speed: "+" means accelerate, "-" means decelerate. Pressing the "LIM" button can limit the vehicle's maximum speed.
Using the cruise control in my Mercedes C260L is super handy, and I use this feature all the time. First, you need to get the car moving and reach a stable speed, like above 40 km/h, which is suitable for highways or open roads. On the left side of the steering wheel, there's a row of buttons—find the cruise control button and press it to activate the system. You'll hear a beep to confirm it's on. Then, use the SET button to lock in your current speed. For fine-tuning, the RES/+ button increases speed, while the SET/- button decreases it—each press adjusts by about 1-2 km/h. To cancel, just lightly tap the brake or press the Cancel button. On long drives, this feature really helps reduce fatigue in your right foot and maintains speed automatically, which can also save fuel. Remember, it's not ideal for city traffic or sharp turns—the system won’t avoid obstacles, so always keep your attention on the wheel just in case. Check your vehicle manual to ensure proper setup, as low battery might affect performance. Overall, it's straightforward, but take a few practice runs to get familiar with the button placements.
