Cruise control system is also known as speed control device, speed control system, or autopilot system. The method to use cruise control in Audi A3 is as follows: 1. Activate cruise control: Briefly press the cruise control button, and the corresponding indicator light on the instrument cluster will illuminate in white. Increase the vehicle speed to the desired cruising speed (above 40 km/h), then briefly press the set/deceleration button, and the corresponding white indicator light on the instrument cluster will turn green. Once the vehicle enters cruise control mode, release the accelerator pedal. 2. Deactivate cruise control: Press the brake pedal, shift the gear lever to N (neutral), briefly press the cruise control button (to deactivate cruise control and clear the set cruising speed), operate the electronic parking brake (EPB) button, or when the ESP system activates. 3. Resume cruise control: When the vehicle speed is above 40 km/h, briefly press the resume/acceleration button, and the cruise control indicator light on the instrument cluster will change from white to green, resuming the previously set cruising speed. 4. Increase cruising speed: Briefly press the resume/acceleration button to increase the speed by 1.6 km/h per press, or hold the resume/acceleration button to continuously increase the speed until the button is released. After releasing the resume/acceleration button, the vehicle will cruise at the current speed.
