How to Use Car Radiator Leak Sealant?

When the leak is no more than a 1mm crack or a 2mm hole, add a bottle of high-strength radiator leak sealant to the radiator and start the engine. After opening the coolant for a major circulation cycle for 5-10 minutes, any leaks in the cooling system—whether in the radiator, rubber hoses, or gaskets—will stop. For minor leaks in individual cooling tubes, you can temporarily place loose tobacco strands into the radiator. The water circulation pressure will cause the tobacco strands to block the leak in the cooling tube. If a cooling tube is leaking, cut it at the leak point, plug the cut end with a cotton ball coated in soap, then flatten and crimp the cut end of the tube. For leaks at rubber hose connections, immediately wrap the hose joint with two loops of a hose clamp and tighten it with pliers.
