How to Use Car Cruise Control?

Place the sliding switch A in the ON position to activate the speed control system. After the system is activated, when the vehicle reaches the desired speed, press button B (SET) once to maintain continuous driving at that speed. Pressing the SET button decreases the speed by 1.5 km/h; holding the button will cause the vehicle to continuously decelerate. Without pressing the accelerator pedal, move sliding switch A to the RES position to increase the set cruising speed.
When I first started driving, learning to use cruise control was incredibly useful. First, ensure the road conditions are safe, like on a highway. I press the cruise control switch on the steering wheel to activate the system, accelerate to the target speed, say 100km/h, and press the SET button to lock it in. At this point, the car maintains the speed on its own, giving my legs a rest. If I need to fine-tune the speed, I just press the plus or minus buttons—super convenient. If traffic gets heavy or I need to brake, a tap on the brake pedal automatically turns it off, and I can press the RES button later to resume the set speed. It’s a real lifesaver on long trips, though I avoid using it in the city or during rain. For beginners, I recommend practicing a few times on open roads to get familiar with the button locations and avoid distractions—plus, it can save a bit of fuel too.
