How to Use Car Air Conditioning in Summer to Save Fuel?
1 Answers
Similar to household air conditioners, the lower the temperature setting, the more electricity and fuel it consumes. Therefore, setting the car air conditioning temperature between 23-25°C is generally optimal. Turning on the air conditioning immediately after starting the engine not only results in poor cooling efficiency but also increases engine strain. Instead, open the windows for ventilation first, and only turn on the air conditioning after the hot air has dissipated. Activating the external circulation mode shortly before reaching your destination can save fuel and prevent unpleasant odors from developing in the air conditioning system. If there's only the driver or one additional passenger in the car, using the air conditioning at the first speed setting is usually sufficient.
